The Next iPhone
Apparently the next model of the iPhone was found on the floor of a bar disguised as a current iPhone model and was sold for $10,000 by the finder. Huge oops or clever publicity stunt?
Winscape
These screens are embedded into the wall and track one person in the room (using a Wii remote) to provide perspective. It has to be seen to be appreciated, it looks really cool, the limitless variety of movies and images is very appealing. Check out the video:

Why is 9:41 the Time on Apple Product Photos?
Now that is detailed presentation planning! The time is chosen to correspond to the approximate time during the presentation when Steve Jobs displays the image of the new product. Could we have expected any less from Apple?

Poor User Experience as a Status Symbol
Apparently users have been shown to become attached to poor interfaces because they can grant a sense of empowerment. How can we overcome this hurdle?
PDAs and the Importance of Price

Interesting article from Peter Merholz at Adaptive Path arguing that price was one of the main design considerations for the Apple iPad, similar to what Palm did with the successful PalmPilot.
Google Superbowl Commercial
This commercial entitled “Parisian Love” was aired by Google during the 2010 Superbowl. It’s the first time the company has broadcast an ad on TV, and also the first time Google has advertised their brand, having been previously opposed to doing so. It’s a touching video, very well done. Perhaps Bing is having a larger impact than I expected? Eric Schmidt (CEO) explained:
“If you watched the Super Bowl this evening you’ll have seen a video from Google called “Parisian Love”. In fact you might have watched it before, because it’s been on YouTube for over three months. We didn’t set out to do a Super Bowl ad, or even a TV ad for search. Our goal was simply to create a series of short online videos about our products and our users, and how they interact. But we liked this video so much, and it’s had such a positive reaction on YouTube, that we decided to share it with a wider audience.
If you like it too, we hope you’ll watch the others. Enjoy.”
